Patrick Kirkland is 36 years old and newly out of a long-term relationship with a live in girlfriend. Working out at the gym, he recognizes a much younger attorney. When Logan comes over and introduces himself, the two quickly strike up a conversation that leads to an easy banter and a whole lot of flirting. But Patrick is straight, right?
Well, maybe not so much. Especially given the way his body reacts when he is around Logan. Add in some “show and tell” and some very erotic phone/video encounters and Patrick is turned upside down about his sexuality. Yet, when their work schedules conflict and Logan thinks Patrick is having a change of heart, Patrick has to prove to Logan that what he is feeling isn’t remorse.
I was a bit leery that a gay for you/out for you romance would seem unrealistic given the time constraints of a novella, but I have to say that this one was done so well that even I believed that a straight-identified man could easily fall under Logan’s spell. I could feel the instant chemistry between these two just with their banter!
Despite this being a novella, the author didn’t skimp on the sexy scenes. I am surprised my kindle didn’t overheat as nearly every time these two are together the sparks were flying! Not to mention that there is probably the hottest phone/video sex scene I’ve ever read!
My only complaint about this story is that I didn’t want to see it end. I wanted more!
Overall, I really liked this story. If you want a quick out for you, erotic novella to read, you’ve got to check this one out. Highly recommend!
