Today I am so pleased to welcome Josh Lanyon to Joyfully Jay. Josh has come to talk to us about her upcoming release, Fair Chance (which Sammy reviewed here and loved). She has also brought along a great giveaway. Please join me in giving Josh a big welcome!
Top 5 interesting facts/tidbits about Fair Chance
1 – When I came up with the idea in Fair Game, the first book in the All’s Fair series, that the serial killer had “disposed” of his victims’ heads, I had not yet figured out where those heads might be hidden. Thinking about the possibilities gave me some creepy evening walks!
2 – There are several “Easter egg” moments in Fair Chance for attentive readers, including advice from Sam Kennedy (The Art of Murder trilogy) and condolences from Adam Darling (Winter Kill).
3 – I did not realize until Fair Chance that Elliot was the recipient of a Shield of Bravery medal. According to Wikipedia: “The FBI Shield of Bravery is presented for brave and courageous acts occurring in the line of duty or within the scope of FBI employment which may extend to major assistance to a task force or undercover operation, grave situations, or crisis confrontations associated with the highest priority cases of the FBI.”
4 – It didn’t occur to me until Fair Chance that Tucker had made a will naming Elliot as his sole beneficiary, and that there was probably enough money involved to give the police reason to suspect Elliot of wanting to get rid of Tucker.
5 – Originally the character of Sheba was not supposed to outlive her first appearance.

Elliot Mills comes face-to-face with evil in this follow-up to Fair Game and Fair Play from bestselling author Josh Lanyon
One final game of cat and mouse…
Ex–FBI agent Elliot Mills thought he was done with the most brutal case of his career. The Sculptor, the serial killer he spent years hunting, is finally in jail. But Elliot’s hope dies when he learns the murderer wasn’t acting alone. Now everyone is at risk once again—thanks to a madman determined to finish his partner’s gruesome mission.
When the lead agent on the case, Special Agent Tucker Lance, goes missing, Elliot knows it’s the killer at work. After all, abducting the love of his life is the quickest way to hurt him.
The chances of finding Tucker are all but impossible without the help of the Sculptor—but the Sculptor is in no position to talk. Critically injured in a prison fight, he lies comatose and dying while the clock ticks down. Elliot has no choice but to play this killer’s twisted game and hope he can find Tucker in time.

The Adrien English series was awarded the 2nd Annual All Time Favorite Male Male Couple by the Goodreads M/M Group. I am excited because this was the first Josh Lanyon series I pick after I read all her standalones. I can’t believe they’re going to say goodbye with this book. Maybe the author will decide to write another trilogy with them. 😉
Welcome, Josh, and congratulations on the release of Fair Chance! I’m looking forward to reading Fair Chance, but first I need to read the earlier books in the All’s Fair series.
I hope to listen to the audio-book version of Fair Chance.
As with every one of Josh’s books, I love this series and can’t wait to read this final installment of Elliot and Tucker’s journey.
I love this series and I can’t wait to read it ^_^
Congrats and thanks for the post and list of 5 tidbits. They make it sound interesting enough to read. Even more of a reason is that I loved the Adrien English series, but haven’t yet started on this one; so now with the third book it looks like I can do what I did with English – binge read.
It sounds interesting, thanks for the giveaway!
I love, love, love Elliot and Tucker. I can’t wait to get off work so I can get started. Hopefully I can go slow and make it last. 🙂

I loved Elliot and Tucker’s first two books and have just finished listening to the audio versions in preparation for reading Fair Chance! I’m so excited to read the final story because there are so many questions – do Elliot and Roland resolve their issues? Does Tucker have any more secrets? And where are the heads…….?!
I love this series. I just finished listening to the audios (for the second time) and now I’m ready to start Fair Chance. Looking forward to more Tucker and Elliott!
I love the series. I can’t wait to revisit Elliot and Tucker >.<
Well, this was the third of the series, and being lucky enough to get the advanced readers copy for this, I must say that it is a GREAT one! So if any of you love Elliot and Tucker, this is a must read. And you’ll love Sheba 🙂
