challenge month 2017 copyHi everyone! We are halfway through our third annual Reading Challenge Month and had a great TBR Pile Week and New To Me Author Week. Now we are moving on to week 3 with Self Published Book Week! If you want more details on the event itself, including specifics on how to enter to win some amazing prizes, check out the kick off post.

This week we will be reading self published books for our challenge. This is one of the challenges you guys voted on in our poll and I am really excited about it. I think there are some great gems out there that don’t always get noticed because there is not a big publisher behind them, so I can’t wait to see what you all read and what our reviewers think of their challenge books.

If you want to read along and need a place to start finding a self published book, you can check out this link to all our self published book reviews. Not all of these authors exclusively self publish, but this will give you a lot of books and authors to check out. Also, all the books we are giving away in this week’s prize are self published, so those are some more you can check out for ideas.

I am also super excited, because OMG THE PRIZES this week. I can’t even explain to you all how blown away I was with the generous donations we got for this week’s prize. So many authors came forward and offered up goodies, we have SEVEN prize packs to give away! I have shared all the details at the end of this post. And remember all entries throughout the month qualify you for the grand prize sponsored by Dreamspinner Press. They are giving away a Kindle Fire loaded with some great releases!

Here is what we are reviewing this week for the challenge:

Monday

  • Lesson Learned by Lillian Francis
  • Gives Light by Rose Christo

Tuesday

  • Axios by Jaclyn Osborn
  • Skin After Skin Audiobook by Jordan Castillo Price

Wednesday

  • Rule Breaker by Lily Morton
  • Revelations by Samuel Alexander
  • Kayson by Jenny Wood

Thursday

  • There Was a Boy by Justin Durand
  • Satin by K.C. Wells

Be sure to check out these reviews and to leave comments on the post for entries. Plus, read along with us and share a mini review on Friday to earn even more entries!
