My friends and fellow bloggers Matt and Brad from the awesome blog 2 Boys in Love have decided to share in some of the virgin hero fun with me this week. Â They are running a challenge for our readers to increase the number of followers on my blog.
Here is the deal. Â At the end of this week (on November 6th), if the Joyfully Jay official followers reach 50-60 they will give away one book from the list of those I am reviewing this week. Â If it has reached between 61-75, they will give away two books from the list of those I review. Â And if my blog ends up with over 76 followers, they will not only give away THREE books to one lucky follower, Matt will also share his own story about losing his virginity on their blog.
They are generously providing all the prizes because they are unbelievably sweet and awesome guys! Â The winner will be chosen from one of the Joyfully Jay followers. Â However, if you haven’t checked out their blog yet you definitely should because they are amazing and share wonderful stories about their life as two young guys in love and figuring it all out.
And, if you can find a story about virgin military troops losing their virginity to each other you will be forever in our debt! We need to find that for Matt and Brad!
>LOL! Yeah, there's got to be some writers out there who can write something about virgin military guys!! LOL. And we'll promote the heck out of it! This has got to be a new "trope" on "troops." LOL.
Thanks for your cross-promo of our blog. Guess I need to get started on my story!! Matty
>Hey Jay I didn't realize I wasn't following you. Sorry! I am now.. 🙂 thanks for this so I knew to hit the follow button.
(I'm slow sometimes)
>LMAO! Love the virgin military troops thing. I am on the hunt. Plus, yeh Matt&Brad are pretty awesome.
>Hey guys (sorry for butting in your blog like this, J), but a fav author just wrote the beginnings of a story called The Virgin Special Forces and you can see it here:

>How ironic, I'm just finishing (today!) a book about two Naval academy grads who are each other's first. It'll be published in January. Hmm, maybe I should add a flashback to that very first time before I submit it (story starts a bit after that).
>@Devon – Oh sounds good! I definitely want to read it when you it is out! And yes, we need a virgin flashback!
>Jayhjay, I've followed your posts over at goodreads–excited to read your blog!
Sammy
>@Sammy – Thanks! Glad you found me over here!
>Hi Jayhjay. My name's Rach – the humble president of Pervs United apparently (of which Matt is the ringmaster, have no doubt lol) Looking forward to following your reviews. 🙂
>@Rach – Yes I saw that on their blog, lol Please count me as a member! Thanks for stopping by!
>lol That was too funny. 🙂 I too love Virgin books. They're fun.
>Just to update you (since I know you're just waiting around for my updates lol!), the flashback didn't quite fit, but I did a scene with a detailed recollection of the deflowering. Thanks for the poke to my muse, the guys enjoyed reliving their first time! 🙂 And my editor will love the extra sex, lol!
>@Devon, yeah, we love deflowering! (ok, that sounds bad) Thanks for thinking of us! Keep us posted about the book and let me know if you want to share it here.
>Hello Jay, I enjoyed looking around Matt and Brad's Blog, I subscribed by email to their site, they have really done a great job in creating it & their posts. If they are looking for virgin military books, I don't know if they checked this site yet, but I tend to find it helpful, GLBT Bookshelf & then search books by catagory for Military and Paramilitary titles, they might find something there that interests them?
Take care, Happy Reading & Writing,
Renee'

>@paparanormalfan – Oh, I am glad you checked out their blog. They are the best guys! I think they are poking around here a lot this week but I'll shoot them a message about your suggestion just in case they don't get to all the comments.
