Hello gang! Hope everyone is enjoying their weekend. I am really looking forward to this week at Joyfully Jay.
First, on Monday I will be reviewing Surprises by Brita Addams, the first book in her new Romeo Club series.
Then on Tuesday, Brita will be here herself to answer some of my questions and tell us more about the book, her writing, and what’s in store for the series.
On Wednesday, I am reviewing Barging In by Josephine Myles. Really enjoyed this one and I’m looking forward to sharing my review with you all.
Thursday I will have a review of The Salisbury Key by Harper Fox, another installment in my Goodreads Challenge (“Best Gay Tearjerkers with a Happy Ending”)
And on Friday I will be talking about some great free reads over at Goodreads that are worth checking out.
And don’t forget, Marie Sexton is giving out a free copy of her awesome book Song of Oestend to one lucky commenter, so be sure to enter! Deadline is Friday at 11:59 EDT.
>Oh! I just read Driftwood by Harper Fox. I liked it very much but the ending with the crazy boyfriend was a total disappointment, I’m in the middle of writing the review but I’m having problems grading it because some parts were brilliant but others felt like a cop-out… I admit that the writing style is fantastic though, and after finishing it I got more of her books including The Salisbury Key…
>@Brie, if you liked the style of Driftwood you will probably like Salisbury Key as well. Similar tone and pacing, similar setting. A bit of a thriller ending as well, but not quite as wild an ending.
