Wow, October is going fast! I can’t believe the month is already almost over!  I am totally behind on all my Halloween stuff.  I promised my kids new decorations this year (apparently “scary” puppies don’t cut it anymore).  We are also going as a family to a Halloween party so I not only have to deal with my kids’ costumes, but figure out something for hubby and I as well.  I am thinking we are all going to be monsters. Maybe make my husband a sexy vampire? 😉

Also, just want to say a quick welcome to the new readers and subscribers, as well as to those of you who have stopped by to follow on Twitter.  It is nice to have so many folks interested in my blog!

So let’s see, what do we have in store this week?

On Monday I have a review of Snakeskin Boots by Xara X. Xanakas.  This is an unusual shifter story featuring a hero who is a were boa (and gets together with a werewolf).

On Tuesday I have a post called Rereading Old Favorites about the books I keep rereading despite my enormous TBR pile. I’ll be interested in hear which books you all like to read over and over.

For Wednesday, I’ll be reviewing Edward Unconditionally by Lynn Lorenz.  This is the third book in her Common Powers, although the first I’ve read (this is totally going against my usual series OCD).  The book is part of my Goodreads Bingo challenge for “Gay Men with Pets.”

On Thursday we will have the first in three awesome days of L.A. Witt!  Woo hooo!  This week I am reviewing her book The Distance Between Us.  Then next week I’ll have a review of the upcoming sequel, The Closer You Get.  And for one lucky commenter, we are giving away copies of BOTH BOOKS!  And just to make next week even more awesome, we will have a guest post from L.A. about one of my all-time favorite romance tropes – the virgin hero!

Then on Friday, I’ll be reviewing the upcoming Dark Soul #1 by Aleksandr Voinov. This is the first in a series of dark and twisty mafia stories.

So that is it for now.  As always, feel free to get in touch with comments, ideas, or requests for review.
