Hello everyone! Happy holiday wishes to all of you celebrating! I hope that everyone is having a wonderful holiday season.

So far things are going well at my house. Everyone is enjoying Chanukah and I have just about gotten the smell of frying latkes out of my clothes!  Way too much baking going on for my waistline, but I guess that is all part of the holidays.  Tonight and tomorrow we will be celebrating with our extended families which will be nice.  And even more food!

So even with the holidays, we have a lot going on this week at Joyfully Jay.

On Monday I will be reviewing Whitetail Rock, a free short story by Anne Tenino originally written for the Goodreads Hot Summer Days event. This book is so good I would have paid for it in heartbeat. So the fact that it is free is a super holiday bonus!

On Tuesday I will have a review of the upcoming book Noble Metals by L.A. Witt, her new steampunk story set during the Klondike Gold Rush.  She will be giving a copy away, so be sure to stop by and comment.

On Wednesday I will be sharing my 2011 Favorite Books.  This includes my favorites of the year in a bunch of categories.  I look forward to hearing about your favorites as well.

Also on Wednesday I will have a review of a new holiday short story, Every Time a Bell Rings by Missy Welsh.  This is really sweet and a lot of fun.

Thursday I’ll have a review of L.A. Witt’s other upcoming release, The Given & the Taken.  This one is a menage story featuring some sexy vampires and a werewolf.  L.A. is generously giving a copy of this one away as well to one lucky commenter.

Then on Friday I will be reviewing Trust Me by Elizabeth Hyder.  It is a short science fiction/alien story focusing on a guy whose best friend thinks he needs to find a man and is willing to push him to get there. Lots of fun.

That should take us through the New Year.  I have lots of fun stuff planned for 2012 and I can’t wait to share it with you guys.  I hope everyone has a wonderful week! Jay
