Hi everyone! Hope you all had a great week. I am still flying high from an awesome afternoon yesterday. We had a DC/MD/VA area meet up for the M/M Romance group on Goodreads. It was so much fun! I got to hang out with a bunch of other m/m romance fans for four hours talking about books! What could be better?
Fortunately we had our own room because we had quite detailed discussions on our favorite books and all kinds of good and smutty stuff! And we got a secret note from the bartender asking us for recommendations (and we got free shots!). We may have shocked our server a few times, but we did give them advance warning! 😉
Here is the gang…

So, lots of fun stuff in store for you all this week. On Monday, I have two reviews for you guys. First, I have a review of Peek-A-Boo by Andrea Speed, the new story in her Josh of the Damned series.
I will also have a review of Feeling Neighborly, a short story by Ellis Carrington. This book is part of the Beat Your Winter Blues Blog Tour I mentioned last week. The hop started on Wednesday and will continue on through April, stopping each Wednesday at a new blog for fun posts and giveaways by the authors. Plus, every comment will enter you to win a $200 gift certificate to an e-retailer of choice! I will periodically be reviewing some of the books from the tour and will mark them with the little blog tour button.
On Tuesday, Andrea Speed will be here for her Josh of the Damned Blog Tour. We will have a great excerpt from Josh’s diary sharing all the crazy things that happen during a night at the Quick-Mart. It is hysterically funny so don’t miss it. Plus we will have information on how to enter to win a copy of Andrea’s Infected series.
Wednesday I am reviewing The Red Thread of Forever Love by Nicole Kimberling. This was a book I picked up for a Goodreads challenge and is about a Canadian man in Japan being stalked by a horny Japanese spirit. It is a really funny, cute story.
On Thursday I have a review of Rubbed the Right Way, the second book in Brita Addams‘ Romeo Club series. This one is super hot folks!
Then on Friday I will be reviewing Precious_boy by K.Z. Snow. This one is about a guy attracted to a younger man (who turns out to be both a porn star AND the son of one of his former lovers). Lots of issues to discuss with this one!
Also on Friday is the kick off for the Shameless Giveaway Blog Hop. So far there are about 90 blogs participating! Right now that link just goes to the hop sign up page, but as soon as I have a live one, I’ll update. So be sure to stop by on Friday to enter to win a prize over here at Joyfully Jay, as well as to link up to all the other blogs giving away great prizes.
That’s about it for me. Hope you all have a great week! Jay
>Ok, that's awesome about the bartender asking for recs! 🙂
>This is so wonderful! I wish there was something like this in Boston! It feels so good to see the faces of people who I have been following and "talking" to all these months. Thanks, Jay! 🙂
>Are you a member of GR m/m romance board? There are a lot of threads for meet ups going on there. I hunk the Aussies met this weekend too. Maybe there is a NE area group.
We did have lots of fun. It was great to put faces to the names of online friends.
>I see lots of cocktails! And yay for the red hair! Another thing we have in common. Looking forward to such an awesome week 😉
>OMG, I just noticed your redhead girl icon! Yeah for redheads!
>I love the pic of everyone! It's so awesome to see everyone.
