Hello everyone!  Hope you all had a great week.  Busy here as usual.

Yesterday I went to a Maryland area meet up for some of the gang from the M/M Romance board over at Goodreads.  It was great to see everyone again and we had lots of fun chatting about our favorite books and what we are reading.  Sadly we were in the main room so we couldn’t get as down and dirty as we did last time. But I am sure the people around us probably got quite an earful nonetheless!

A few general announcements to mention.  First, last week I talked about Gay Rom Lit, a big gathering of romance readers, authors, and publishers.  This fall it is being held in Albuquerque and should be amazing.  Tons of great parties and other events, as well as author readings, Q&As, book signings and more.  They are filling up fast, so if you are thinking about going you should sign up soon.  I am SO excited about it!

I also wanted to mention the DABWAHA contest being sponsored by the Dear Author and Smart Bitches, Trashy Book blogs.  This is an annual event where they have a March Madness style tournament to pick a favorite romance book. There are eight categories, including one for GBLTQ romance.  Right now it is time to fill out your brackets and then later this week the voting begins.  It is free to enter and a lot of fun with great prizes.  And you can always comfort yourselves knowing there is no way you can do worse than I did last year!  So stop on by and enter.

Ok, so what is going over here at Joyfully Jay?  Another super busy week.  Here what we have in store for you guys…

On Monday, I will be reviewing Foreshock by Kari Gregg.  This is a great short story that takes place during last years Northeast earthquake (I remember it well!).  Kari is donating the proceeds from the book to the Trevor Project.

Also on Monday, Kari will be visiting the blog to talk more about where she was during the quake. She is also bringing a great giveaway for one lucky commenter.

On Tuesday, Melanie has a review of Sunset by Arshad Ahsanuddin.  This is the first story in an epic vampire saga.

Also on Tuesday, Sammy will be reviewing Zombie Wonderland, a great romance by Piper Vaughn that she just loved.

And don’t forget, Tuesday is the last day to enter to win a copy of The Amethyst Cat Caper by Charlie Cochet.  This was a great book so don’t forget to stop by and enter to win!

On Wednesday, we are spending a full day in the Belonging Universe!  First up, Sammy will be reviewing Where He Belongs by Rachel Haimowitz.  This is a series of short vignettes that introduce Daniel and the world where he lives as a slave.  Sammy will also be reviewing Anchored by Rachel Haimowitz that continues Daniel’s story as he becomes a television anchor.

Also on Wednesday, I will be reviewing Counterpunch by Aleksandr Voinov, which takes place in the same world as Haimowitz’s books.  This was a fabulous story of a slave boxer that I totally loved.

On Thursday, Melanie will have a review of Guarding Morgan by R.J. Scott.  This is the first book in the Sanctuary series about a guy who witnesses a murder and the organization that fights to keep him safe.

Later on Thursday I will be reviewing Nobody’s Hero by Katey Hawthorne.  This story features Jamie, a guy “awakened” to his super powers who meets up with a hot geek named Kellen.

Then on Friday, Katey Hawthorne will be joining us to talk about all Nobody’s Hero, her love of comics, and her plans for the guys for St. Patrick’s Day.  Katey is also bringing a copy of the book to give away so be sure to stop by.

So that should do it for this week.  Hope you all will join us and share in the fun!  Jay
