We’ve got some beauties for you this month.  Here are some of our favorite covers from books we read in March.

Promise in a Kiss by Piper Vaughn
Cover art by  Aisha Akeju

This cover is gorgeous and really captures the book, with the images of the plane tickets and wedding rings, along with the Japanese feel that fits much of the setting.  Really different than your traditional romance novel cover and I think it really works.

What Binds Us by Larry Benjamin
Cover art by John Kicksee

This cover is so lovely and a bit haunting and really captures the feel of the story.  The beach imagery is perfect and I love the color and tone of the cover.  It fits so well with the book.

Irregulars anthology by Josh Lanyon, Ginn Hale, Astrid Amara, and Nicole Kimberling
Cover art by Sam Dawson

I think I just like this one because it is so different.  It isn’t your traditional romancey cover, and the graphics and color are so arresting, especially with that glowing yellow eye.  You can just tell there is going to be something usual and unexpected inside this book.

Something Like Summer by Jay Bell
Cover art by Andreas Bell

Raji talked about her love of this book in her A Book I Love post and I just had to include the cover here.  Gorgeous illustrations and the color conveys the heat of summer.  So beautiful.

Nobody’s Hero by Katey Hawthorne
Cover art by P.L. Nunn

Ah, you guys know I love P.L. Nunn’s covers.  Her work fits these books so well, really giving you that superhero feeling that captures the story.  Kelly especially comes across just how I imagined.

Zombie Wonderland by Piper Vaughn
Cover art by Aisha Akeju

Oh I love this one.  Beautiful, really unusual, and totally gets across what the book is about.  The colors are great with the lights practically glowing. Just gorgeous!

Dark Soul Volume 5 by Aleksandr Voinov
Cover art by Jordan Taylor

This series finishes up with yet another exquisite cover. Taylor has really knocked it out of the park with this series. The images are gorgeous and the tone completely fits the books.

The Fifth Son by Blaine Arden
Cover art by Sylwia

This cover does a great job of showing so much about the book in one image. It highlights the characters, Llyskel’s red hair, his passion for art, and Captain Ariv watching him in the woods. We also get a great feel for the fantasy element of the story. Really lovely.

Sunset by Arshad Ahsanuddin
Cover art by Arshad Ahsanuddin

Melanie loved this cover and really thought it worked with the story.  Again, nice to see something different than the usual generic romance cover.

Ok, now for the eye candy portion of the post. I don’t think you all need me to tell you why I like these covers, do you? 😉
