Lots of beautiful stuff this month! Here are our favorite covers from April…

King Perry by Edmond Manning
Cover art by Anne Cain

I love this one. It is so striking and it completely captures the key moment in the book when everything comes together.  Just perfect.

Josh of the Damned Triple Feature by Andrea Speed
Cover art by L.C. Chase

I love the old time monster movie poster feel of this cover.  This book has three stories in it and the cover does a great job of incorporating them all, as well as pulling off the playful tone of the book.

Handle With Care by Josephine Myles
Cover art by Kanaxa

I really like the way this cover includes small details from the story, from Ollie’s purple hair, to Ben’s scruffier face.  And I like the position they are in, with Ollie in sort of a nurturing role over Ben like so much of the book.  Very nice.

Country Mouse by Amy Lane and Aleksandr Voinov
Cover art by Jordan Taylor

I don’t always love split screen covers but I think it really works on this book. The fact that they are so different is a big point of the book, so I think setting them up opposite one another fits well with the story.  Plus, the guys here totally capture both Malcolm and Owen which I always appreciate.

A Token of Time by Ethan Day
Cover art by Winterheart Designs

This is such an interesting cover and it really conveys the 50s era from the book, both in the styling and the color.  Really great looking!

Bonds of Earth by G.N. Chevalier
Cover art by Justin James

I think this one is just so striking.  The black and white cover sets it off right away, but I love the hands in the dirt.  Really interesting and different.

Listening to Dust by Brandon Shire

This is such a nice cover, beautiful picture and a really different look.
