Hi guys! Just wanted to let you all know the final eight voting is happening today and tomorrow for the DABWAHA tournament. For those of you not familiar, this is a March Madness style tournament of romance books run by the folks at Dear Author and Smart Bitches, Trashy Books. There are eight “regions” of different romance genres, including one for GBLT books.
All the regions completed against themselves and the fabulous Stars & Stripes by Abigail Roux has come out on top of the GBLT bracket. Which means it is now up against all the other genre winners (all of which are het romances).
So what does that mean for you? Well, if you want to show your love and support for m/m romance, I encourage you to get out and vote. You can vote even if you are not participating in the tournament, but only once per IP address. And if Stars & Stripes wins this round, Riptide and Abi will be doing an early release for the newest book in the series, Touch & Geaux! Woo hoo!
Voting is going on all weekend for the final eight, but this matchup is running today from noon to midnight CST. So get out there and vote for your favorites and show them some love!
In case you are interested, the other GBLT picks that made it into the tournament were:
- Irregulars anthology
- Frat Boy & Toppy by Anne Tenino
- Dark Soul by Aleksandr Voinov
- Tigerland by Sean Kennedy
- Moving in Rhythm by Dev Bentham
- A Private Gentleman by Heidi Cullinan
- The Marrying Kind by Ken O’Neill
Thanks for the heads up!
