Hi everyone! I hope you all had a lovely week! Things are just hopping around here!
Ok, so a few orders of business. First off, we are in full swing with preparations for Men in Uniform Week. We have already received 56 prize donations you guys! I can’t believe the amazing generosity. And if anyone is interested in making a donation, we would be thrilled to accept it. So just send me an email and we can add you to the list. We have also almost finished lining up our guest posters and have some great folks who will be stopping by. We are still collecting ideas for books to review, so if you have suggestions just let me know. And if you want more details on Men in Uniform Week, here is the kick off post.
Also, I am super excited because next Saturday is my birthday and Loose Id is helping me celebrate! They are hosting a special sale of 10 of my favorite books! The sale will kick off on Thursday and run through Sunday. Then on Saturday we will be giving away books to some lucky winners. So it is my birthday and you all will get some of the presents! Woo hoo! I am so excited about this and can’t wait to share some of my favorite books with you .
Last thing I want to mention is that the Eric Arvin Support Fund is still collecting money. This week Eric is being moved to a new rehab facility because the old one just wasn’t doing a good job. But they are having to pay for the new one themselves, and I am sure I don’t have to tell you that it will be pricey. So if you can spare anything to help out, here is the link to a page with more details.
