Hello everyone! I hope you all had a lovely week! Things continue to be busy here with our three new reviewers jumping right in and hitting the ground running. I am so excited to be able to bring you all more reviews with their help!
I am also excited to announce a new feature we are starting this week at Joyfully Jay for Throwback Thursday! Each Thursday we will review a book that is at least two years old. We all have books we have loved but never reviewed here and this will give us a chance to share some of them with you. Also, most of us have HUGE piles of unread books in our libraries that keep getting passed over in favor of the new and shiny books we are offered for review. So this will let us dig in and get to some of those older books as well. We will still have reviews of older books other times like we do now, but this way we will have at least one a week. We already have a huge list of books lined up for Throwback Thursday so I am super excited about it!

Great plan! I just recently read Shattered Glass by Dani Alexander that came out a couple of years ago. I’ve been trying to get through my GRL reading list, but I keep getting pulled back into some older books that everyone tells me I MUST read 😉
Yes, it is so hard not to be distracted by new and shiny but there are SO many unread books I am dying to get to. Should be fun. Plus, I know lot of readers are new to the genre so this should help introduce them to some older books they might not know about.
I’m so glad you’re doing this! I’ve bought and haven’t read about 250 books and some of them are by my favorite authors. Sales are an addiction and I know I’d love every book I’ve bought if I can just read them before the, as you perfectly described it, new and shiny books.
LOL, yes, I have the same problem. They stare at me with big puppy eyes as I run off to the shiny! So hopefully this will help us get some of those books out of reading limbo and maybe help you guys pick up some oldies but goodies as well.
