As with most of these lists, I was inspired after reading several books featuring bad boys and I realized how much I like this trope. Taming the bad boy has been a popular theme in romance for years and seems to include everything from reforming the rake to finding the sinner with the heart of gold. I think it fuels the fantasy that you can have the sexy wild guy who is tamed by the love of the right partner, while still keeping that exciting edge.
