Coconut Cove Series

Characters

Now that we’re two books in, it’s a good time to do a little recap on the characters so far! Each character is actually two characters (which sounds a little weird) but they’re the TV personality, and the actor who plays them. We don’t focus much on the TV plot but we thought it would be important for the readers to know both the TV character and the real character as well. I’ll go in order!

Life's A Beach, Coconut Cove Episode #1Book One: We have Mack who’s played by the actor Flynn Wright. Mack plays the quintessential new boy in town. Every teen drama has to have one, right? His dads own the B&B and he doesn’t quite fit in with the town royalty at first. Flynn on the other hand is the one cast member who was well known before hand so he comes in as the reluctant star.

Book Two: is Ryder, played by Blair Fletcher. Ryder is the scheming Queen Bee. I thought it would be ironic to name the actor who plays him Blair. Some people will get that:) Blair, unlike his TV alterego might look like a haughty runway model but is quite shy and a little embarrassed to be thought of as a TV star.

Nerdy Little Secret, Coconut Cove Episode #2Book Three: Next up we’ll have Robbie who is played by Levi Phillips. Robbie is the hot leather jacket wearing bad boy who has a soft spot for innocent little Joey. Levi sometimes tries to put on a tough shell like his alter-ego but it’s not too hard to get past it! He’s a reformed bad boy with a heart of gold.

Book Four: Joey played by Tony Adams. Joey is the baby of the bunch, sunny and sweet. Tony, ironically is nearly thirty and an industry veteran. Sometimes he gets tired of playing kids, but since this is his first non bit-part he’s happy to have it. Plus, he’s found some of his best friends on set. Book Five: Hudson is the athlete, the star of the school, the good guy everyone wants on their side. He’s played by Cutter Whittingham. Cutter is perfect for the role of Hudson, but he has his share of demons and sometimes they get the best of him. He really only turns on that charming movie star smile when the cameras are rolling.

Book Six: Kelly played by Howie Morasco. Kelly is everyone’s best friend, all around awesome guy, and the school sweetheart. Howie….isn’t. It’s going to take a lot of work for him to change the minds of everyone on set and soothe all the feathers he’s ruffled over the first two seasons of Coconut Cove.

That’s a lot of characters! But it didn’t take Poppy and I very long to get to know them during the first couple books and I’m excited to dig deeper into the last few characters!

If you haven’t taken our character quiz, come see which Coconut Cove character you are. Come tell us who you are on our coconut cove facebook page!

Bio

M.J. O'SheaI’m Mj O’Shea, author of erotic romance–well all sorts of romance actually, that’s just what’s been published so far!

I grew up, and still live, in sunny Washington state and while I love to visit other places, I can’t imagine calling anywhere else home.

I spent my childhood writing stories. Sometime in my early teens, the stories turned to romance. Most of those were about me, my friends, and our favorite tv stars.

Hopefully, I’ve come a long way since then…

Right now, I have four books published through Republica Press (click on the link to visit their site), but I’m constantly working on new projects.

When I’m not writing, I love to play the piano and cook and paint pictures…and of course read. It’s nearly impossible to work on my own writing when I’ve gotten myself hooked into a great new book:) I like sparkly girly girl things, own at least twenty different colored headbands, and I have a little white dog with a ginger eye spot who sits with me when I write. Sometimes she comes up with ideas for me too…when she’s not napping.
