Today I am so pleased to welcome Rayna Vause to Joyfully Jay. Rayna has come to talk to us about her latest release, Demon of Mine. She has also brought along a copy to give away. Please join me in giving her a big welcome!

Hello, my name is Rayna Vause and I’m the author of Demon of Mine. I’d like to thank Jay for letting me and the guys guest on her site today. Instead of me talking about the book, I though it might be fun it to let you meet the guys instead.  So, without further ado, I’m turning this over to Ryan and Zavier. Take it away, gentlemen.

Ryan: Zav, you ready to do this?

Zavier: No and why do you get to be the interviewer? I’m the one that used to be a journalist.

Ryan: Come on it won’t be that bad and that was more then half a century ago. *Zavier glares at Ryan. Ryan smirks at him*.

Zavier: Fine, fine. Let’s just take it from the top, I guess. Ask you’re first question.

Ryan: How did you start working for Corporate South?

Zavier: You know how. Ask another one.

Ryan: Just answer the question dammit. For once don’t be a pain in my ass.

Zavier *rolling his eyes*: The usual way. I traded my soul to save your life and I’d do it again if necessary.

Ryan *hits Zavier’s arm*: There’s nothing usual about selling your soul.  And by the way, no more soul trading. Do you really want to work for Serena again.

Zavier *barking out a laugh*: I seriously doubt that she’s got any type of authority anymore.  She’s probably roasting on a spit as we speak. Could have happened to a nicer person. Next question.

Ryan: Who was your favorite client at South and how did you make sure they had a nice day?

Zavier *smiling*: There was this sexy little actor about ten years ago. Tall, blond, body of a god. Ow! No kicking. I’m kidding. You are now, an always will be, my favorite client. *Links his hand with Ryan’s* Do we have to do this much longer? I’d love to make your day a great one. (Zavier lifts Ryan’s hand to his mouth and kisses it.)

Ryan *shivering*: Definitely hold that thought. Just a few more and we can go. If our story were to become a movie, who would you want to play you?

Zavier: Channing Tatum.

Ryan: Zav, he doesn’t look a thing like you.

Zavier: So what. If he’s playing me I’d get to meet him right?

Ryan: *narrows his eyes then sighs *

Zavier: What? He’s hot.

Ryan *shaking his head*: I never should have taken yo to see Magic Mike.

Zavier: Mmm, really like that movie. Anyway, how about Taylor Lautner instead?

Ryan *pressing his fingers to his eyes*: Oh god, never mind. It’s just getting worse.

Zavier: Well if you know so much who would you pick for me? Screw that—what about you? Who would play you?

Ryan: For me I think I’d go with Matt Bomer. For you, maybe Hugh Jackman.

Zavier *puffing out his chest*: Wolverine works for me. Bomer for you—I can get behind that, but he’d never get the eyes right. No contacts in the world can compare with your green eyes. *Zavier slides his hand up Ryan’s thigh*

Ryan *removes Zavier’s hand*: You are trying to get out of answering more questions and it’s starting to work. Now focus.

Zavier: You said that before.

Ryan: Then stop sidetracking me. Next question. What’s one thing you miss about being a demon?

Zavier: That one’s easy. The calling plan. I have yet to find a provider that has teleportation as an option. Man, I really miss that. Two and a half hours trapped in a flying metal tube just to get to Florida.

Ryan: It wasn’t that bad.

Zavier: Says you. You were sitting with Mya and Maggie. I was across the aisle by myself. Your seat mates weren’t snoring in your ear the whole way.

Ryan: But that’s the price for Space Mountain and your first set of mouse ears.

Zavier *shrugging*: Ok maybe it was worth it. Next question.

Ryan: Hmmm—Ok here’s one. If you had to pick a food and drink pairing to accompany the reading of our story what would it be?

Zavier *frowning at Ryan*: That is not a question.

Ryan: It totally is. *Snickering, he hands Zavier the paper*

Zavier: What that–? What genius came up with some of these questions. Food pairing are you kidding me? I don’t know. Pizza, but the real pizza, not that stuff you feed me.

Ryan: I feed you real pizza.

Zavier: It’s sauce and crust with soy cheese on it. Soy cheese is not real cheese. Your lactose intolerance is killing me. I still have nightmares about the mac and cheese you made with vegan crap. That mess tasted like chalk flavored noodles. Folks, if you’re going to read and eat, get a real pizza and some beer.

Ryan *glaring*: Are you done? *Zavier nods* Ok, last questions. Now that you’re no longer with South what are your plans for the future?

Zavier: Ah another easy one. *Zavier stands, grabs the paper from Ryan tosses it aside and pulls Ryan close* My plan is to spend as much time a humanly possible with you in my arms. *Leans in and places a soft kiss on Ryan’s lips.*

Ryan *smiles softly*: Interview over, folks. It was nice meeting you. Thanks for joining us but we gotta go. *Pulls Zavier out the door*

Blurb

Demon of MineClimbing the corporate ladder can be hell….

As a Collections Demon, Zavier grants his “clients” one wish in exchange for their souls. His job sucks, but once you make a deal with Corporate South, they own you. The trouble is, Zavier’s not a very good Collections Demon, with his tendencies to spurn authority and find loopholes to help deserving clients out of their contracts. He’s under scrutiny from the head of his department, who would quite literally like to see him burn. He just needs to close a simple deal to get upper management off his back. Instead, he meets Ryan.

Ryan is desperately searching for a way to save his dying sister. He doesn’t believe in magic and demons, but he’s out of options. Zavier’s not what he expects in a demon, and even more unexpected is the strong sense of familiarity—very intimate familiarity.

While trying to free Ryan from his contract, Zavier discovers secrets unscrupulous even by South standards. Exposing them could cost Zavier everything, but it might be Ryan’s only hope.
