Today I am so pleased to welcome Lee Brazil & Havan Fellows to Joyfully Jay. Lee & Havan have come to talk to us about their latest releases and Story Orgy Superheroes. They have also brought along a great giveaway for their tour. Please join me in giving Lee and Havan a big welcome!
Being Bad with Lee Brazil and Havan Fellows
Lee: Good morning everyone! *sips coffee* Thank you to Joyfully Jay for inviting us here today and participating in our Superhero Tour. Oh… forgive me. I am Lee Brazil, author of m/m romance with Story Orgy and Pulp Friction. Over there by the coffee pot with the mug the size of Delaware is Havan Fellows, also of Story Orgy and Pulp Friction.
Havan: It’s actually the size of Connecticut. 🙂
Lee: Oh, my apologies. Pumpkin spice creamer? Or is this an “I like my coffee as black as Darth Vader’s Soul” day?
Havan: Well normally I do black, but since virtual Pumpkin spice creamer (one of my all time faves!) is carb free…I’m in.
Lee: Darth Vader…now there’s an epic villain. Epic. Power…presence…major creep factor with that voice…and talk about talents. Who hasn’t want to strangle an underling without laying a finger on him?
Havan: He does go down as one of the best baddies…yes. The man tried to hurt his own kiddos–wait, is that a spoiler? Should I do a spoiler alert?
Lee: I’m not sure it can be considered a spoiler when it’s oh my god… Havan… If I did this math right, it’s nearly a 40 year old movie? That can’t be right. *eyes scratch paper. *mutters 1977 to 2000 equals… *coughs* Okay so…enough about that. Next thing you know, we’ll be sharing the map with the location to all the bodies.
Havan: Talk about mega spoilers… *whispers* Don’t worry, I hid the map like you told me to.
Lee: *pointed glance* Not that such a map exists…
Havan: um…exactly…yeah
Lee: …or that such bodies are literal.
Havan: The list of bodies I’d like to have is quite literal…let’s see, there’s Jason Momoa (Drogo style). The geek lover in me has a major crush on McGee from NCIS–is it only me who thinks he has the poutiest lips? I just wanna…um…
Lee: Oh yeah! McGee is hot stuff… and speaking of geek… how about the gorgeous Dr. Spencer Reid of Criminal Minds?
Havan: How could I have skipped Spencer Reid?!? Absolutely adore Criminal Minds, and the way Spencer babbles *sighs*. Anywho…back to the bad guys… I got plenty of crushes on them, too lol. Eric Northman (from the series & the books) can bite my neck any day–I do have a serious thing for the actor that plays him, Alexander Skarsgård.
Lee: Um… Give me a minute. I’m going to have to google that guy.
Havan: Oh and who didn’t swoon a little when Jareth the Goblin King started singing in Labyrinth?
Lee: David Bowie! Oh my yes… he was fabulous.
Havan: But let’s face it, it takes more than a pretty face to make a good bad guy. It’s harder to write a bad guy that people hate–and love!–than it is to write a good guy that the readers root for.
Lee: Yes. And it takes more than an evil villain to make a superhero. Superman without Lex Luthor… Batman without the Joker… What are they doing? Running around trying to fix the little things, right? A mugging, a carjacking… Not every villain is trying to take over the world. Some of them are just trying to score enough cash for their next hit.
Havan: And our superheroes are there to help out, whether they signed up for the task or not…hey, there’s a learning curve here. ?
Lee: And then some villains are just in it for the glory.
Havan: Some of the best baddies in my opinion are the ones that I want caught and hung out to dry…but I’m on the edge of my seat waiting for them to be on page/screen again because damn it, every time they make an appearance they up the emotional factor.
So not all villains are created equal – some are searching for world domination, some simply want a quick buck to get by until the next time they think up a get-rich-quick scheme. No matter what their poison is, the constant in the equation is that they need someone to stop them, someone to thwart their attack on the unsuspecting people of …and that’s what Story Orgy has brought you. Men with talents that are beyond the usual…and they aren’t afraid of using them.
So sit back and enjoy some high flying marshmallow antics with us…until next time. *winks*
For more Story Orgy Superhero goodness, our co-writers Hank Edwards and Em Woods will be releasing their books soon. ?

A MAN OF UNUSUAL TALENT
Collin Crane is a man of unusual talent. Really unusual. Too weird for the Guinness Book unusual. On the fifty-year plan to a doctoral degree in physics, and a quiet quest to understand his own oddities, Collin clings to obscurity. This superhero has learned the hard way that it’s better to be safe than sorry.
Enter Mathias Giraud, football hero, local cop, and CC’s secret fantasy since high school. Mat’s a simple man with a hero complex fostered by comic books and Marvel movies. Saving the world is his fantasy, but since his roots are firmly planted in Morrisonville and reality, he’ll settle for protecting and serving. Until he clashes with CC at the local convenience store and is reminded of his own high school crush.
When marshmallows are involved, the course of true love is bound to get sticky.

Secrets? Oh yeah, Dean Wades has a doozy. When he goes up, he doesn’t necessarily come back down. Okay, that’s not true. Dean’s a master at falling, it’s the landing that could use improvement—a lot of improvement. After thirteen years of attempting to conquer this gravity defying mystery, he can no longer live with not knowing what he is anymore. So he heads cross-country to see the two people who just might be able to give him the answers he seeks…his folks.
Easygoing Gavin Trevor is always willing to help his family, even when they have ulterior motives…like forcing him to make up with his annoying older brother. When a simple task at his parent’s house puts him in a position of danger, he’ll need a lot more than luck to avoid a serious injury—he’ll need his very own superhero.
And the fates collide, well sort of. It may not be love at first sight—Gavin was unconscious in Dean’s arms for their initial introduction…but perhaps these two men can make it a relationship at first flight?A threat against Gavin’s family throws a wrench in their plans, and while Dean gladly offers his amateur talent to help the mission, Gavin doesn’t want to put his rescuer’s life in jeopardy by risking exposure of the greatest secret ever.
This proves to be a rescue adventure for the books. Or is that a rescue misadventure?

Bio
Lee Brazil
Somewhere in a small town in up-state New York are a librarian and a second grade teacher to whom I owe my life. That might be a touch dramatic, but it’s nevertheless one hundred percent true.
Because they taught me the joy of reading, of escaping into worlds crafted of words.
Have you ever been nine years old and sure of nothing so much as that you don’t belong? Looked at the world from behind glasses, and wondered why you don’t fit?
Someone hands you a book, and then you turn the page and see… There you are, running from Injun Joe in a dark graveyard; there you are fencing with Athos; there you are…beneath the deep blue sea- marveling at exotic creatures with Captain Nemo.
I found myself between the pages of books, and that is why I write now. It’s why I taught English and literature for so many years, and it’s why my house contains more pounds of books than furniture.
If I’d had my way, I’d have been a fencer…or a starship captain, or a lawyer, or a detective solving crimes. But instead, I am a writer, and I’ve come to realize that’s the best thing in the world to be, because as a writer, I can be all those things and more.
If I hadn’t learned to value the stories between the pages, who knows what would have happened? Certainly not college…teaching…or writing.

Havan Fellows
I annoy, love, respect, scare, seduce, hurt, anger, infatuate, frustrate, flatter, envy, amuse and tolerate everyone. I just do it better in writing thanks to a little thing called…edits.
Okay no, seriously…I’m a simpleminded person who enjoys the escape from real life through a book. I write with the group Story Orgy and hope to continue doing so for a long time. I also am privileged to be with the Pulp Friction writers, creating intermingling books in a world all our own.
I recently took the drastic step of quitting my EDJ (evil day job) and am now living in the gorgeous desert in Arizona making a go at this writing stuff full time…and I can’t see me regretting this decision ever.
Just like every other red-blooded human—I get a little bouncy when I get mail (any kind too…email, comments, private messages…you wanna do it, do it with me *winks*). So feel free to drop me a line—whether it’s on my blog, twitter, PInterest, or you track me down on FaceBook or Google +…it’s easy to catch someone who wants to be caught.
I specialize in writing boyxboy though I read almost everything…and I fancy myself as slightly funny every once in a while. 🙂

Hi! Thanks so much for hosting us on our tour today.
It’s always an honor to be here, thanks for having us. 🙂
Lovely to have you guys!
Thanks for a fun post, Lee and Havan. Did I hear marshmallows? Count me in!
I keep saying CC would be great to have at a campfire…lmao Smores and hot cocoa for everyone. 🙂
Now I’m craving marshmallows, goshdarnit. I’ve always wanted the ability to teleport. No more commute!
That’s what I’m talking about – cut the commute time down to 2.2 seconds…lmao. I tell you – while Lee was writing about CC I kept getting cravings for smores. 😀
Great post. I don’t think I could stomach camping…bugs and all..Telekinesis seems like a great gift.
That would be a nifty superpower to have. I could see me messing with people, every time they reach for something move it over a few inches. lol 🙂
I’ve always wanted to be invisible. Not only could I help people, but I could be SUPER nosy too. 🙂
Oh the trouble I would get into if I could be invisible. *sighs* 😉
Best of luck with the Books Lee and Havan and with the blog tour.
Thank you so much, good luck with the giveaway. 🙂
I like marshmallows. Thanks for the great post. Fun to read.
We like fun. 🙂 If you go to the other stops in our blog tour we talk about lots of…um…interesting things – like what we want on our tombstones and the superpowers we’d like to have. 😀
I’d go with teleportation as my super power
Can’t argue with that – the time and money it would save. 🙂
exactly….besides, I’ve never left my country before…imagine the places I could see! 😀
LOL! Great post. I agree with you, some of them are great villains, like Darth Vader or Eric Northman (he can also bit my whatever… whenever), but these villains have a soft side… I like my villains really dark and unrepentant, like The Kurgan in the Highlanders movie (1986), or John Doe in Seven (1995). Those were bad, bad guys!
Absolutely – there is a difference between evil villains and romanticized villains…and I love both of them. Glad you liked the post, and good luck with the giveaway…hope whoever wins the gift cards gets a good helping of whatever villain they love – or love to hate. 😉
Thanks for the post and contest! If I could choose a superpower, I would like teleportation. I could go to my favorite restaurant on Maui any time I wanted! 🙂
Thanks for stopping by, and good luck with the giveaway. I’d love to visit Maui, never been before so that would be a good place to start. 🙂
I think I would like my super power to be teleportation. Then I could disappear in a flash.
I’m writing a paranormal series and my incubus can “mist” and that’s what he keeps saying – he doesn’t have to be the biggest and the baddest because he can disappear the quickest…lol
