It is that time of year again for a roundup of our favorite covers. I am one of those people who can totally be swayed to try a book based on a beautiful cover, and sadly can be turned off when something is awful. So I really think covers are an important part of the reading experience, even for those of us who read everything electronically.
Here are my favorites of the year. Enjoy!
Somehow I’d missed the cover for Rise. I love it! Heidi Cullinan’s covers by Kanaxa/Nathalie Gray are definitely my favorites this year, from the Love Lessons series to Dance With Me and my top pick, Carry the Ocean. Beautiful stuff all around. The whole post is filled with great ones, thanks for sharing them with us. 🙂
Yes, I love the cover for Rise. So beautiful (and such a good story). But yes, I totally agree with you that Kanaxa’s covers are amazing. She is really a genius and her work is so consistently good.
Out of your choices I like Mad About The Hatter the best,  but they’re all good covers. Thanks! 🙂
Yes! I loved the play with Alice in Wonderland. It is incorporated so cleverly!
Some great choices, Jay! Â The covers for the Heii Cullinan books are definitely on my list, but for some reason, Mad About the Hatter is the top pick for me.
