Modifications – A Brand New Series!

I had this idea for a new BDSM series where a pair of demons have set up a service where they offer men their deepest, darkest fantasies come true. The twist of course is that because they’re demons and they have magic, they don’t go by what their clients tell them is their most beloved fantasy, they can pull it right out of their clients’ brains. So what the client thinks he’s getting is not necessarily what he’s actually getting. But in the end, his deepest and darkest fantasy will be fulfilled and he will have his happily ever after. Because even with demons involved my guys get their happy ending.

Because of the set-up, there’s a bit of a fantasy vibe about the whole thing – it’s not exactly set in our world with our real world rules. The elements of BDSM explored can be extreme, things like piercings can be healed overnight instead of in months, and stuff like jobs and making money can be done away with, which allows me to focus on the kinks themselves, and the way the clients and the men fulfilling their fantasies connect.

The first book in the series – Mane and Tail – explores Pony Play. I have done Pony Play before in a couple of other books, but both times, those were shorter stories and I’ve been itching to do a longer book where we go from a newbie at it right up to living as a pony complete with hooves and reins, and performing as a pony. Mane and Tail is that book.

I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it.

Excerpt

Eric had overslept, waking up with his cock aching and still hard. He’d only had time for a quick shower, and a soapy rub ’n tug had ended with his cock still stubbornly refusing to shoot. As a result, he’d been tired, frustrated, and cranky the entire day. The same pattern repeated on a second day, and then a third. By the end of the fourth day, he was going to kill something.

As soon as his watch showed five o’clock, he threw his suit jacket over his shoulder, loosened his tie, and made a beeline for The Foxy Hound, intent on a quick suck in the back room. He needed help. He needed someone to give him what he needed. As soon as he walked into the bar, his eyes fell on the man, the guy from the meeting, the one who’d given him the fucking business card for mod.com, and he stormed over. “What did you do to me?”

The man was impeccably dressed, looking sharp and cool and calm and collected, everything Eric usually was, but at the moment just wasn’t.

One elegant eyebrow went up. “I beg your pardon?”

“What did you do to me? Did you drug me?”

“I did no such thing.” The man looked him up and down. “You’re clearly agitated, though. Let me buy you a drink and you can tell me why you’re all worked up.”

He nodded once, his entire body aching like he’d been beaten. And not in the good way, either.

The man waved at the bartender, asking for another lager and a whiskey. They were poured right away, the whiskey set in front of Eric along with the beer.

“Thank you.” Eric managed to be polite for a second before he jumped right in. “You did something to me. I’ve been… ill, since we spoke.”

“At the conference?” The man frowned. “I simply gave you my card and suggested you go to the website if you wished to have your dreams come through. I didn’t touch you – our fingers didn’t even brush.”

Eric’s cheeks heated, a flush of embarrassment hitting him. God. God, was he insane. “Sorry. I must have the wrong person.” He had the good sense to put a twenty on the table. “For the drinks.”

“You haven’t had yours yet.” The twenty was passed back to him. “And it’s my treat.”

“Humor the lunatic, huh? I appreciate it.” Drink the booze and go.

The guy held his hands up in an age-old symbol of appeasement. “Something is clearly bothering you.”

“Yeah. Yeah, just a few bad days in a row.” Leaving him thinking he was insane, and this conversation wasn’t alleviating that at all.

“That sucks. Maybe you should check out our website,” the guy suggested. “It’s the kind of thing that can really turn around a bad day.”

“I did. There’s nothing there. No real information.”

“Maybe you weren’t looking hard enough.”

Really? Like he wasn’t already frustrated as hell. “Looking hard enough? I’m not a hacker, man.”

“No, you don’t have to be.” Sitting back, the man took another sip of his beer.

“Obviously I’m not in the right space for this shit.” He needed to be satisfied, dammit, and this mumbo jumbo about looking deeper into the website was not helping in the least.

“Perhaps not. Perhaps you need to think about where you should be and see if you can’t get there.”

Talk about fucking cryptic – the words would have annoyed him on a good day. And this was not a good day.

“Don’t you think I’ve tried?” Eric asked.

The man shrugged. “Try harder.”

“What the fuck does that mean?” He was going to kill something.

“I think, deep down, you know what you need.”

Eric shook his head sharply. He couldn’t have that so it was a moot point.

“When your need becomes great enough, you’ll know.”

“What does that even mean?” Eric demanded. “Fuck this, I came here for… a little peace.”

“Then you should find it. It’s right through that door.” The guy pointed to a door at the back of the bar with a long, well-manicured finger.

How did this guy know that?

His drinking companion sat back, watching Eric.

Hell, he wasn’t sure of anything anymore, so he stood without another word and headed over. It couldn’t make things any worse, could it?

The door seemed to get smaller the closer he got, then bigger, almost vibrating. Eric frowned deeply. Too much whiskey. Obviously, too much. When he got to the door, it was solid and normal sized. Definitely too much liquor for anyone’s good sense.

He reached for it, feeling a zing when his hand wrapped around the doorknob.

Please, he prayed silently. Please, I’ll give everything for what I need.

Blurb

Modifications: Mane and TailEric Martin is a successful businessman, but he’s lonely, he’s stressed, and there’s something missing from his life. At least that is, until he meets Daryus at a conference. Daryus promises he can offer Eric all his fantasies come true. A second meeting at a bar one night, leads Eric through a door into a world where he suddenly finds himself as the ‘pony’ of groom Soren.

Soren is a groom of human ponies who is working off his debt to a demon by training men in pony play. He enjoys his work a lot and one day hopes to have a pony of his own as a reward for all the good work he’s done and to celebrate the payment of his debt. When Eric appears in his stall, Soren believes that day has finally come.

Eric can’t believe the stables he finds himself in are real. His pony fantasies are just that – fantasies. Not only that, he’s never shared them with anyone, so how could Daryus have known? Between Eric’s confusion and lack of experience, Soren has his work cut out not only training Eric, but convincing him that this is real and that Eric doesn’t ever need to go back to his old world.

With a little demon magic and a lot of care, Eric and Soren just might find everything they need to be both happy and together.
