A Collars & Cuffs Short: Peter’s Nightmare

*TRIGGER WARNING! This deals with a non-con nightmare*

The sound was impossibly loud, and Peter had to cover his ears to block it out.

“Move your goddamn hands,” Master Curtis snapped, punctuating his words with another sharp blow to Peter’s back. “Your problem is that you don’t fucking listen. I told you not to move, but you still do. I know how to fix that.”

He fastened Peter’s hands with plastic zip ties before the whip in his right hand came down again, and Peter’s back lit up like fire. He screamed until his throat went raw.

“Good. That’s what we want to hear, boy. We love listening to you cry.”

Over and over the whip came down. Peter could feel the hot blood as it streaked his back, running freely. Still, that didn’t stop Curtis. Nothing ever stopped him. Especially after he and his mates had gone out and gotten drunk, then came home to see which of them could make Peter hurt more.

He heard the sound of belts and zips coming undone, and Peter knew what came next. He lay down on the floor and closed his eyes, waiting for the inevitable.

“Peter?”

He clenched his fists at the gentleness of the voice. Who the fuck would taunt him so cruelly? Wasn’t it enough to take away his last vestiges of dignity? Now they had to take away his heart?

“Peter. Please, wake up.”

He felt the warmth of hands on his shoulders. For just a brief moment, he allowed himself to believe someone cared. Then Curtis grabbed his hair and yanked his head back.

“We’ve got a few new friends, boy,” he sneered. “They came with us from the pub, wanting to see this open hole I told them was here. You’ll like them, too. One of the guys said he’s got twelve inches. Maybe that’ll actually stretch your hole.”

Agony seared through him as they took him, not caring that he lay there sobbing.

“Peter!”

That voice and those warm hands again. Peter’s mind focused on them. On their touch that brought him comfort, even while the rest of his body was wracked with pain. But when that warmth encircled him, drawing him closer, the other sounds and feelings faded away.

“Come back to me now, boy,” came the soft voice in his ear.

Peter opened his eyes, and met the concerned gaze of his master. His <em>true</em> master.

“Are you okay now?” Thomas asked, his brows knitted together.

A dream. No, a fucking nightmare. He hadn’t had one of those for a long time.

He tried to speak, but nothing came out. When he tried again, he managed to whisper, ‘Yes, Sir.”

“I’m going to get you a drink to help you relax,” Thomas announced as he stood.

Peter gripped him tightly. “Please don’t go,” he pleaded. “Stay with me and keep the dreams away.”

Thomas lay back down, and tucked Peter into his solid frame. The warmth, the musk of his master relaxed Peter as nothing else could.

“Did you want to talk about it?” Thomas murmured.

Peter shook his head. “Just another dream. Can you…would you hold me for a while?”

“Oh, Peter. If it helps, I’ll hold you forever.”

Peter sighed and snuggled into Thomas’s embrace. He knew sleep wouldn’t be coming soon, but it didn’t matter. His master held him safe, just as he always would.

Meet K.C. Wells:

Born and raised in the north-west of England, K.C. WELLS always loved writing. Words were important. Full stop. However, when childhood gave way to adulthood, the writing ceased, as life got in the way. K.C. discovered erotic fiction in 2009, when the purchase of a ménage storyline led to the startling discovery that reading about men in love was damn hot. In 2012, arriving at a really low point in life led to the desperate need to do something creative. An even bigger discovery waited in the wings—writing about men in love was even hotter….
