Today I am so pleased to welcome Saloni Quinby to Joyfully Jay. Saloni has come to talk to us about her latest release, Knock on Wood. Please join me in giving her a big welcome!

When you think about romance novels, Bigfoot probably isn’t the first word that comes to mind. Why would I want to set my erotic romance in the middle of a Bigfoot hunt? For me, it’s because one of my favorite settings is a cabin in the woods. It’s common, but romantic. In Knock on Wood, I wanted to include some comedic twists and an element of paranormal adventure. Bigfoot was the perfect addition.

I’m fascinated by stories about Bigfoot and similar creatures. It’s always fun to think “what if?” I wanted to write a story about two guys who are opposite in many ways, but have two important things in common. They don’t believe in Bigfoot and they’re both frustratingly attracted to each other.

Knock on Wood isn’t the first romance I’ve written with a Bigfoot-like character. In the Warriors of Sir Guy, one of the heroes is a half-demon who shifts into Yeti and in Second Chance Charity from the Hot River Collection (writing as Kate Hill), the hero is half elf and half Wildman–a Bigfoot-type creature.

I’m not sure if I’ll write another romance with a Bigfoot in the mix, but you never know. I loved working on Knock on Wood and hope readers enjoy it as well.

Blurb

Knock on Wood by Saloni QuinbyOn a dare from a friend, skeptic John Smith travels to the woods of Maine to investigate Bigfoot sightings. The last thing he expects to find besides a legendary creature is a sexy trail guide.

Earl Eli plans to trick his pretentious guest with a fake Bigfoot appearance, but when he and John fall for each other, he calls off the hoax — or so he thinks.

In the wilderness, a beast, a violin and two men in a log cabin equal a recipe for action.
