Good Boy continues the story of Brad Feller and Sebastian DeWitt from Anne Tenino’s excellent Frat Boy & Toppy. This book picks up after the guys have been together a while and are running into some relationship issues as Sebastian is both obsessed with school work, as well as jealous of Brad’s relationship with his friend Collin. Things are a little rocky between them, but the two work through their issues and come out stronger for it. This is a fairly short follow up to the main book, so it moves through the conflict pretty quickly and into the good (sexy) stuff between them. You can check out all my thoughts on this story in my ebook review here.

I listened to this one in audio and I really enjoyed it. Nick J. Russo does wonderful narration and this book was another great one. I listened to Frat Boy in audio as well, so I appreciated the great continuity of voices and tone between the two connected stories. Russo does a nice job distinguishing the voices and really gets Sebastian nicely. His voice comes across as both “toppy” and sexy and it really works perfectly with the story. Russo also does a nice job conveying Brad’s vulnerabilities and insecurities. And the heat and sexiness between them really comes through as well. It is a solid audio that really adds a lot to the story.

So Sebastian and Brad are my favorite characters from Tenino’s Theta Alpha Gamma series and I really enjoyed revisiting them here. If you are a fan of the ebook, definitely give the audio a try. And if you haven’t read either of these books, I could recommend them in either ebook or audio format.
