Hi everyone! Today we finish out our week of Annual Favorites with our Favorite Covers of 2016. I love good cover art and feel like it can make such a difference in how people perceive a book. A good cover can totally sell a book to me, and sadly, a bad cover can make me shy away. They need to both be attractive, and to convey to the reader what they are going to find inside the book.
So here I have compiled some of my favorite covers from the books we reviewed this year. Let me know what you think and if you have any favorites we missed!
We have pretty similar taste. Here are a few I loved…
In The Present Tense, Carrie Pack
Black Dust, Lynn Charles
Murmuration, TJ Klune
Hotline, Quinn Anderson
Empty Net, Avon Gale
Into The Blue, Pene Henson
Ooh yes, those were all great. I think some of them made it into my monthly favorites over the course of the year.
Interlude Press has such a great art director in CB Messer.
yes, their covers are consistently top notch
