Today I am so pleased to welcome Dani to Joyfully Jay. Dani has come to talk to us about the Euro Pride Con 2017. Please join me in giving her a big welcome!
Thank you Jay for allowing me to post on Joyfully Jay today to talk about Euro Pride Con 2017. When my friend (and fellow organizer) Marc came to me three years ago with an idea to start a LGBTQ convention on the European Mainland, I can say I was absolutely interested… but also a bit leary because what would this whole venture include?
Yet now it is 2017 and we are well on our way to the third one.
After Munich in 2015 and Berlin in 2016, this upcoming year we are staying in Berlin for another year. On June 24 – 25 we will be staying at the Hotel Berlin in Berlin. When I say we, I mean we as organizers, our team which expanded this year with Tim ( who was also with us last year ), Isa and Tanja, and of course our fantastic crowd of readers and authors who have joined us the last two years and are joining us in 2017.
We have featured some great authors the last couple of years and are delighted to have returning authors like K.C Wells, T.J Masters, Hans Hirschi, Osiris & Beryll Brackhaus, Julie Bozza and L.A Witt. We are also delighted that we will have some new faces like T.J Klune, Abigail Roux, Amelia Faulkner, Maris Black, J.P. Kenwood , Max Vos, Shannon West and Narrator Greg Tremblay to name just a few of the interesting line up for this coming June.
We are proud to be able to host this event for the third year, despite some struggles along the way, and we even sent out an announcement for 2018 already!
We have gotten a lot of support from sponsors along the way, both publishers and authors, and we are tremendously grateful for each supporter we are receiving. If you feel like you want to participate in any way please check out the various sponsor packages we have:

We welcome everyone who wants to experience a convention like ours with friends and like-minded people. There will be panels, readings, time to socialize, a signing and the possibility to have a nice dinner together. The convention does include 2 lunches, coffee, tea, softdrinks and snack breaks.
We of course are hoping for more people to join us and sign up. You can do that here: https://europridecon.jimdo.com/registration/
As we are planning out the shedule and the panels, I also have dipped into organizing the 2018 event, under the smoke of Amsterdam, so there is lots of great stuff to look forward to.
I hope to see you all in Berlin!
Dani
