Finn

There was a long pause as I gaped at Niall, uncharacteristically lost for words. I don’t know why I was so surprised. It wasn’t like I hadn’t been invited to be part of a threesome before, hell I thought I was going to be part of a different one earlier. But I hadn’t seen this coming at all.

“What do you think, Adam?” Niall slid his arm around Adam’s waist. “You and Finn could both have some fun with me.”

“Uh….” Adam swallowed, his dark eyes fixed on me, cheeks flushed from the heat of the dance floor.

I met his gaze and tried to work out was he was thinking. Was he up for it? Was I up for it? I’d fancied Adam as long as I’d known him, but I’d kept a lid on it for so long. Maybe a night of crazy sex with him—and Niall—would get him out of my system and I’d be able to move on. Or maybe it would just whet my appetite for more. God, I wanted to find out. It was on the tip of my tongue to say yes. But what about Adam, what did he want? Or more importantly, what did he need?

Uncomplicated rebound sex.

All Adam needed was no-strings fun with someone he’d never see again after this week.

So, much as it pained me, I shook my head. “I’m not sure that’s a good idea. I think Adam would rather have you all to himself.”

“I don’t mind sharing,” Adam said quickly. “It might be fun.”

I stared at him, eyebrows raised. “Are you sure?”

Tension crackled between us. I wondered how much of it was obvious to Niall. He watched us, waiting in silence for us to make our decision.

Adam nodded. “Yeah, it’s no big deal. It’ll be a laugh.” He licked his lips and swallowed. His expression belied his words. Something about the set of his jaw implied it was a big deal to him. Maybe not for the same reasons it was for me, though. I knew Adam; he never did things like this. He didn’t even do casual hook ups much before his relationship with Drew, and to my knowledge he’d never been in any sort of group sex situation. Perhaps he was ready to branch out.

“Okay then.” I wasn’t going to argue anymore. I couldn’t deny I wanted this. With alcohol buzzing through my veins, and Adam staring at me with an intensity that was new and thrilling, I no longer had the ability to make sensible, rational decisions. My dick was saying yes, and I was going with it.

“Awesome.” Niall beamed. “This is gonna be so much fun. Let’s go and get laid!”

Blurb

CoverA summer fling is an ideal cure for a broken heart. But when it’s with your best friend, things get complicated.

When Adam is dumped by his boyfriend, a week away at a beach resort seems like a great opportunity to get over his ex. Sun, sea, and no-strings sex will be just the boost he needs to move on with his life.

Adam’s best friend, Finn, agrees to accompany him at short notice. Finn’s had a crush on Adam for years, but is determined to put his feelings aside and be the perfect wingman in Adam’s time of crisis.

A spontaneous threesome with another guy forces Adam and Finn to confront their attraction to each other. Having a holiday fling together wasn’t part of the plan, and as their trip heats up, they soon realise that one night of fun won’t be enough for either of them.

The passion might be scorching, but their hearts and friendship are on the line. If their romance is going to survive the flight home, they have to be honest about what they want.

Bio

Copy-of-jay-1Jay lives just outside Bristol in the West of England. He comes from a family of writers, but always used to believe that the gene for fiction writing had passed him by. He spent years only ever writing emails, articles, or website content.

One day, Jay decided to try and write a short story—just to see if he could—and found it rather addictive. He hasn’t stopped writing since.

Jay writes contemporary romance about men who fall in love with other men. He has five books published by Dreamspinner Press, and also self-publishes under the imprint Jaybird Press. Many of his books are now available as audiobooks.

Jay is transgender and was formerly known as she/her.
