My regular readers know that I am a huge fan of good cover art. We do a monthly Favorite Covers post here because I think a good cover can totally sell a book (and a bad one can sadly detract from the book). When a cover is done well it can draw you in to the story, give you a feel for the tone of the book, and make a connection with the words on the page. So I always love to look back at the of the year and highlight some of my favorite covers and the wonderful cover artists who bring them to life. Here are my 2017 favorites…
I also wanted to give special mention to the amazing covers for Annabeth Albert’s Out of Uniform series. Albert hit the jackpot with these and each of them are just gorgeous! Cover art is done by Carina Press.
There are definitely some attractive covers out there. Thanks for sharing your favorites, Jay.
You are welcome!
Happy to see Natasha Snow’s wonderful cover for My Life as a Myth made your list. I fell in love with it the first time I saw it. She really is fabulous. (And thanks to you for including her!)
You are so welcome. Natasha does beautiful work!
