Today I am so pleased to welcome Tanya Chris to Joyfully Jay. Tanya has come to share an exclusive excerpt from her release, You, Me & Her. She has also brought along a copy to give away. Please join me in giving her a big welcome!
“You and Sherry ever have a threesome?” I asked, a combination of curiosity and lust overriding my better judgment. It didn’t hurt to ask the question.
He took his time answering. He popped the DVD into the player, then sat down next to me on the floor and leaned back against the couch. He took a drink from his bottle of water, then screwed the cap back on and tossed the bottle lightly back and forth between his hands a couple of times. Finally, he nodded.
“With other guys or other women?”
“Other guys. Sherry doesn’t swing towards women.”
“Other bisexual guys?”
“What are you getting at, Nate?”
“Nothing,” I lied. “Just spectating, I guess. It’s hot—two guys and a girl. I did it once. No guy-guy action, but, yeah, two guys and one girl. It was sort of a fantasy, so when I had the chance … Anyway …” I realized I was rambling and shut up. Joshua’s eyes were disconcertingly unwavering. I wished I could read what was behind them.
“Should we watch this?” he asked when the silence had stretched too thin.
I propped a cushion under my head so I could see the television. Joshua sprawled out next to me, head towards the screen. The opening credits rolled through the silence.
“Look who’s here.” Sherry’s voice woke me up. “It’s the gift that keeps on giving. Hey, blue eyes.” She kissed me, then leaned over her husband and kissed him too. “Somebody’s got too many clothes on, by which I firstly mean me.” She kicked off her shoes, then pulled her high-necked shirt over her head, revealing a black lace bustier. “God, I hate weddings. So proper.” She dropped down onto the floor and squirmed her way between me and the couch, pulling me into her lap. She reached around me and started unbuttoning my shirt.
“How’d it go?” Joshua asked while her fingers worked nimbly down the row of buttons. I could tell from the fog in his voice that he’d been sleeping too.
“It was hideous visually—think carnations in various shades of purple—and sounded as bad as it looked. The bass player was the groom’s best friend’s brother. Clearly nepotism was involved in picking the band. Did you know the bass player is the most important member of a band? Yeah, neither does he.” She tugged my shirt off, then started on my jeans. “Open bar, though.”
“You could have called me for a ride.”
“I’m fine. I’m so fine that you could grab me a drink if you want.” Sherry pushed down on the waistband of my unfastened jeans and I complied by wiggling out of them. My cock sprang upright in my boxer briefs. She tsked and tapped the briefs and I removed those too, the thrill of being exposed pushing the last ounce of blood that would fit into my erection.
Joshua came back into the living room with a bottle and handed it to Sherry. He stood irresolutely above us for a minute, then turned on his heel and headed for the doorway.
“You don’t have to leave.”
He stopped and turned back to us. I lay with my head cocked back on Sherry’s shoulder, her tequila-cooled lips sliding along my neck.
“You could stay and watch. Or help? We could tag team her, if Sherry’s all right with that.”
“Sherry’s more than all right with that.” She twisted her neck around to look at her husband. “My favorite kind of threesome, the kind where it’s all about me.”
“We’ve never had a threesome like that.”
Joshua plunked himself down on the floor next to us. He wrapped his arms around Sherry, encompassing me in the loop he made. As he kissed her, their joined heads loomed directly above me, giving me a uniquely intimate view.
“That didn’t scare you?” Joshua’s eyes flickered down to my hard cock, then back up to my face.
I didn’t answer him with words. Instead, I lifted my mouth to Sherry’s and kissed her as Joshua’s breath feathered along my cheek and his arms tightened around the two of us.
“Then let’s go to bed,” he said with a wide grin. He sprang to his feet and reached a hand back for me. When I stood, naked and hard before him, he smiled and let go of my hand. “All about Sherry,” he said, pulling her up next to us.
“All about Sherry,” I agreed. And about me getting what I wanted.
Nate wasn’t made to be monogamous, a fact he never fails to disclose to his partners. No matter how much he loves the women he’s with, he sees potential in others. Does that make him a horrible person? His on-again, off-again lover and current co-star, Deb, certainly thinks so.
But his other co-star, Joshua, understands. Joshua, who’s fast becoming the best friend Nate ever had, doesn’t even mind when Nate hooks up with his wife, Sherry. Well, he does mind a little, but only because he has the hots for Nate himself.
Nate’s always known he’s polyamorous, but is he also bi? He loves being with Joshua. He loves being with Sherry. He definitely loves being with Joshua and Sherry together. Can he make the transition from loves-being-with to just-plain-loves? And even if he can, how does he fit into another couple’s relationship?
Meanwhile, the situation with Deb is growing ever more toxic, the future of their show is at stake, and not all of Nate’s friends are on board with the whole poly/bi thing. It’s a minefield Nate can only navigate with the help of one very special man.
