Hi gang! I hope you all had a great week! After I complained about the rain last week, it is officially HOT here! And it sounds like most of you are having equally hot weather. So perfect time to sit by the pool with a book (or hunker down in the A/C the same way!).
So a quick heads up to you guys that I am moving the site to a new web host. Thanks to all of your support and readership, Joyfully Jay has outgrown our current web hosting set up. Which yay! We have so much traffic they can’t keep up! But boo! It’s going to cost more money! lol
What that means is that probably at some point next weekend you may see a bit of downtime as the DNS (the system that points my blog to my URL) gets transferred from one place to another. It takes time to populate world wide apparently. Once I know details, I’ll be sure to let you all know what to expect, but just a heads up that things are happening. It also means that hopefully the site should be getting a lot faster and the intermittent down times you all may have been experiencing should be eliminated. Yay!
I’ll be back later today with two announcements. First, the Coastal Magic Convention opens up registration this afternoon, so I’ll have all the details, as well as a link to the author list. You may have heard me mentioning this event before as this will be my third year as a Featured Blogger there. So keep your eyes open for that.
Also, this afternoon, with some help from a generous donation from our reviewer Camille, we will have a giveaway opening for some books that she has she is offering up to readers and some used kindles.
