Yesterday wrapped up the end of our 2018 Reading Challenge Month. I always love this event and I hope that you guys had a great time as well. It amazes me how each year I find at least one fabulous book through my reading challenges. This year, some of my standouts included Daddy Issues by Lynn Van Dorn and Mage’s Power by Casey Wolfe, both by new-to-me authors that I certainly will be looking out for in the future. Keep your eyes open for our winners to be announced for both Self-Published Book Week, as well as our grand prize winner. And thanks to everyone who read along with us and shared their comments on our challenge reviews, as well as the fabulous folks who donated prizes.
I spent this weekend at the Baltimore Book Festival, participating in the Romance tent with the folks from the Maryland RWA chapter. I moderated a really interesting panel on Friday on historical romance, and today I am appearing on two panels: Trends in Romancelandia, and The Author/Blogger Relationship. It has been fun to meet some new readers, as well as get to know some of my local authors. We got lucky that after several days of terrible weather, this weekend has been lovely. And as a bonus, my husband came and spent the day/night on Saturday so we did some sight seeing, as well as gorged ourselves on some delicious food!

The festival sounds so fun. I’m glad everything turned out so well for you! It’s been such a great month around here that I’m sad again it’s over. But there’s always more wonderful reviews of (hopefully) wonderful books to look forward to!
Yes, it was fun! I got to meet some great local authors and spend some time hanging out with romance lovers. And the panels were great!
