Excerpt

Over the next decade, I managed to erect quite the empire. With Jamie by my side, the success of the business never faltered, only grew. We rebranded The Nook, opened another location in Portland and had our sights set on San Francisco to open our third Into the Grey bar and lifestyle club.

While the front of each was still a bar the public could frequent as well as enjoy watching the go-go dancers, the back was an exclusive private members only club that came with a pricy annual fee and had its own separate entrance. Only the employees could cross over from one side to the other via the inside of the building.

The dancers were not allowed to sell anything other than dances, if they were caught selling their asses to any willing Joe they were fired on the spot. We weren’t about to lose our licenses because someone couldn’t keep their junk in their pants for a quick buck. The outfits they wore were designed by Jamie and consisted of short black leather shorts, had they been any other color they would’ve revealed far too much. At least this way it left something to the imagination. They had matching suspenders and black slip resistant dance shoes. The dance floor now had three stages, two with poles and one with a cage. At any given time, each platform had anywhere from one to three, sometimes even four dancers on them as Jamie had a staff of twelve at the Seattle location alone. Friday and Saturday nights the entire dance team worked and made an insane amount in tips.

After catching far too many patrons hooking up in the restrooms, some of which I’d never get the images out of my skull from seeing, we decided to remodel them. Tiled floor to ceiling as well as installed floor to ceiling stainless steel stall dividers and doors. We knew they’d never stop fucking in the bathrooms, but there was some shit no one wanted to see. At least everything in there now could be hosed down and disinfected easily at the end of the night.

In the lifestyle club there was no alcohol served and the patrons couldn’t pass on the inside from the bar to club. At the private entrance on the rear side of the building, memberships were verified before entry was granted. Butch was in charge of the security team for both venues. We’d modified the existing building for the bar and dance club and purchased the building next door for the lifestyle club. I renovated the top floors of both, combining them into one. One half was my private residence while the other half was now our main office.

Our rules were strict and non-negotiable, ensuring the members’ as well as the staff’s safety. No meant no and if you were homophobic you need not apply as our clubs were gender neutral and allowed people from all walks of life who could afford the fees to join. If you couldn’t handle watching two guys, two girls or any gender combination getting off then our clubs weren’t the places for you. We did however offer private rooms as well, but for those of us who enjoyed public displays and liked to watch as well as be watched then our glass partitioned areas were right up your alley. But you had better be open to it all, baby.

At the front of the lifestyle club there was a meet and greet area where patrons could get to know one another and decide if they wanted to participate in extracurricular activities or not. High back leather loveseats with wing sides gave those introducing themselves to one another a bit of privacy before moving to the back to fulfill their urges. Once an agreement was reached, they entered through the door that led them to where the magic took place. There were lockers where their valuables and clothing could be stored. If you didn’t bring your own lock, you could check one out from the front desk.

We prided ourselves on cleanliness and safety which were first and foremost as more times than not, the two went hand in hand. As soon as an area was done being used, our staff was in it, changing sheets, replacing towels, disinfecting the areas, restocking condoms and lube and emptying the trash before they were on to the next room. We’d pass any blacklight inspection we could potentially be challenged with.

All but the private rooms were enclosed in glass walls so those who wanted to watch, but not participate could do so. I won’t lie, from time to time I indulged the voyeur in me, but if I chose to fuck someone I generally took them to my private room in the back. Never, ever did they come upstairs with me. My room had one-way glass, so we could see out, but no one could see in which worked out well for the men I screwed that were closeted. The numbers that fell into that demographic were staggering.

Blurb

Greyson Fox, the man, the myth, the legend. The highly sought after, self-proclaimed permanent bachelor. Or so the rumor mill goes. Sure, I’ve heard it all – but the one that stung the most was being called a heartless bastard. Love ‘em and leave ‘em, that one in particular I found to be the most humorous since only one man had ever shared my bed more than once, and he’d long since passed away.

I wasn’t the heartless bastard they all proclaimed me to be, but life had a way of kicking me in the teeth…Repeatedly, so I shut my heart off.

For years I thrived, building my empire and living by my own rules. Until one day, the walls came crashing down around me.

Potential trigger warning: This book contains brief descriptions of human sex trafficking, as well as two mentions of sexual abuse, including a brief description of oral abuse and an attempted sexual assault. There is some physical abuse by the syndicates hands and a drug overdose so if those are trigger points this may not be the book for you.

Bio

I’m TL Travis and I’m the published author of a plethora of Erotic Romance musings that have earned me a “Best Seller” status in the US as well as Internationally.

In my spare time, when I’m not weaving erotic webs, I enjoy fishing, wine tasting and people watching. Everyone has a story to tell, it would be fun to guess yours.

I’ve rescued 4-legged souls in need for as long as I can remember, and would like to remind you to “Adopt, not shop.” Saving that life may very well save yours in return.
