Today I am so pleased to welcome K.A. Merikan to Joyfully Jay. The authors have come to talk to us about their latest release, Wrong Way Home, part of the Criminal Delights series. Please join me in giving them a big welcome!

Thank you for having us, Jay! We’re here to talk about out new release “Wrong Way Home”, which is a walk on the dark and dangerous side of M/M romance.

The book is part of the Criminal Delights series (http://criminaldelights.com/), with the theme ‘Taken’. The whole series is created by 16 authors to bring a dark thrill to your reading experience. Each novel can be read as a standalone and contains a dark M/M romance.

These books are for adult readers who enjoy stories where lines between right and wrong get blurry. High heat, twisted and tantalizing, these are not for the fainthearted, but the types and levels of ‘darkness’ vary from book to book, as each author has interpreted the theme in their own way.

“Wrong Way Home” is our take on the theme of abduction, and you can read about that from three other authors in the series, but the other themes for Criminal Delights are: Organized Crime, Assassins, Serial Killers, and Obsession.

Dark M/M books can be harder to find, and they often don’t end up as high in Amazon categories, so we wanted to band together with other authors to give each other visibility. It’s been a massive undertaking that we’ve started with Katze Snow back in September 2018, and is now coming to fruition after many trials and tribulations. Each author has stretched their creative muscles to bring a story with their own flare while staying within the theme.

For us, with “Wrong Way Home”, we’ve explored how two very different people can come together under the most unfortunate circumstances. Colin, the captive is a massive brat who tests Taron’s patience many times, and Taron, despite being a man who makes his own rules and abducts Colin, is very vulnerable. Can you imagine this axe murderer has never been kissed? Aww! 😉

We invite you to explore Taron and Colin’s story, and we hope it will make you question what is right and what is wrong. If it was Taron who caught Colin, or the other way around.
