Hi all! I hope you had a great week. I am pretty much recovered from my extended stay in St. Louis for GRL. Made it home on Monday, exhausted, but not too much worse for wear. I am still struggling to get some compensation for my cancelled flight and all the additional expenses I have incurred, so wish me luck!

This weekend we got away for a few days at the beach. I love this time of year — shoulder season — when it is warm and nice and lots of places are still open, but not nearly as many crowds. We had a beautiful day on Saturday, even though it was a bit windy, and I managed to finish pretty much a whole book while sitting on the sand.

This week is another crazy one for me at home. I have (still more) dental work on Tuesday (thank you valium) and then Thursday, I have one more out of town college visit with my daughter. This should be it for the ones that require travel, at least until it is closer to decision time. It has been kind of exhausting, but also nice to spend some time with her.

On the blog, we have a little bit of a quiet week, which I think is good for all of us here as everyone seems to be a bit run ragged. Here is what we have planned:
