Exclusive Excerpt
Making a concerted effort to think pure thoughts, he watched Luis striking a series of ill-at-ease poses. He would show him what to do when he had his turn. For now, he remained content to watch from the side-lines.
And watch he did as Daniel had Luis making all sorts of different shapes.
“That’s it, Luis,” Daniel coaxed. “Raise your hands as though you’ve just won Monaco.”
“Again,” Luis said, drily.
Luis stretched his arms up. Charles couldn’t take his eyes off his body.
Eventually, he and Luis swapped places. It might have been in Charles’ imagination, but he could have sworn Luis brushed past him when he had absolutely no need to. The scent of Luis’ spicy cologne filled his nostrils. Without thinking, Charles breathed it in. He caught Luis watching him with amusement. Blushing, he took his place in front of the camera.
“Okay, Charles,” Daniel bellowed. He wasn’t a quiet man. “Remember that time we took those models to Biarritz?”
Charles shuddered. It had been a free trip organised by a sports magazine. They had got some decent shots, but unfortunately, the endless flow of champagne also resulted in Charles throwing up in Daniel’s camera bag and being thrown out of a club for picking a fight with some snap-happy tourists.
“Don’t remind me,” Charles replied. “Those days are long gone.”
Daniel looked aghast. “The alcohol industry mourns your passing.”
Charles made a face and got himself ready. He glanced over at Luis, who was regarding him with a serious expression. “Everything okay?” he asked.
“Of course,” Luis replied. “Just watching the master at work.”

Bio
I have written for as long as I could write. In fact, before, when I would dictate to my auntie. I love to read, and I love to create worlds and characters.
I live in the English countryside. When I’m not writing, I like to get out there and think through the next scenario I’m going to throw my characters into.
Inspiration can be found anywhere, on a train, in a restaurant or in an office. I am always in search of the next character to find love in one of my stories. In a world of apps and online dating, it is important to remember love can be found when you least expect it.
