Hi all! I hope you had a great week!
I can’t believe it is almost the end of the school year. My college freshman is coming home this week for the summer. It feels like we just dropped her off last August! I’m excited to have her home full time, at least for a few months. She already has a huge list of food she wants me to cook for her while she is home! My oldest is graduating college in a couple of weeks, so lots going on for both of them. And our kitchen is officially done! They finished the work a couple of weeks ago, but we have been waiting on paint. The walls got banged up during renovation and so now it finally looks nice and fresh. I loved the yellow in the kitchen/family room, but after 15 years, I was ready for a change. And the green just makes me relaxed and happy!
Also, I want to wish a Happy Mother’s Day to all the moms and mother figures out there. And gentle loving hugs to all those for whom this is a tough day. We will be celebrating with my in-laws tonight and seeing my girls on Tuesday (both have crazy end-of-school weekends so tomorrow is too busy), then dinner with my parents next weekend.
And here is what we have planned on the blog this week…
