“Red panda.”

“You hate red pandas?” Peyton asked sceptically. That was a blatant lie. He’d held one during an “encounter” at a wildlife park a few years ago, and he’d cried.

“No, it’s an option, and I’m picking it.” Will tilted his head. “I don’t think this quiz is very accurate.”

“You don’t think?” He could have told Will that.

“My life will be incomplete and meaningless if I don’t know what kind of pie I am, Peyton.”

Peyton chuckled and slid his hand down Will’s chest and rested it around his hip, slipping under his shirt to rub his skin. Will’s breath hitched, and Peyton’s entire focus shifted to the way that Will felt against him.

“So, what’s the verdict?” he asked huskily. He traced the skin above Will’s waistband, his breath quickening as heat spread in his belly.

“It—it’s loading.”

“Shift up for me,” Peyton whispered in his ear. Once Will was sitting up better and he could reach, Peyton palmed his dick through his pants, feeling his semi-hardness. “How long is it going to take? I don’t want your life to be incomplete.” He added pressure, and Will groaned, dropping his head back against Peyton’s good shoulder.

“Uh. I don—” Will cut off with a strangled moan.

Peyton licked the shell of Will’s ear as he massaged his hardening cock. “What kind of pie are you, Will?”

Will’s legs spread, giving him more room. “P-peach,” he gasped, his fingers losing his grip on his phone. Peyton nudged it away with his leg so it was a safe distance away.

Peyton smiled into the curve of Will’s neck. “Peach?” he asked, amusement lacing his voice. What were the odds of that? It was perfect.

“It says that!” Will protested, turning his head to look at Peyton. “What, you don’t think I could be a peach?” The indignation was real, and it only made the amusement curl deeper into Peyton’s stomach. He lifted his chin, fitting their lips together, moving softly against Will’s.

“I think the quiz deserves a reward for its accuracy,” Peyton said softly. He kissed Will’s jaw, peppering kisses across the strong line of it. “A peach is round.” He kissed below Will’s ear, nibbling gently. “Luscious.” He took Will’s earlobe into his mouth and rolled it between his teeth.

He slid his hand around and under Will, cupping his ass. “Biteable.”

“Are we still talking about a peach?” Will asked.

Peyton grinned and bit playfully on Will’s shoulder. “What else would we be talking about?”

Blurb

When the chemistry between the five men explodes, the stakes get even higher.

Jericho Rowlands has spent most of his life living under different names, doing the dirty work required to keep Sydney safe. His time as Warren Boiler had put him on a collision course with Sebastian Devlin—the lawyer who kept him out of jail when it all went to hell in a handbasket—and also brings him into contact with the three men who are such an important part of Sebastian’s life. Jericho is only supposed to be keeping Sebastian alive; that’s easier said than done when chemistry like he’s never felt before flares between him and all four men—four men that he definitely shouldn’t want to touch so much.

Quinn, Peyton, Will, and Sebastian have the weight of history and mistakes and missed opportunities between all of them, making an already-complicated situation harder. None of them can deny the magnetic pull holding them together as they try to muddle through what their new normal will look like. Jericho isn’t supposed to be part of it, but they can’t ignore their instant connection with him when he falls into their orbit.

The past has led them to where they are, but the threats of the present could end any chance at a future they might have. Sebastian and “Warren’s” names are on a list, and everyone else on it is dying one by one. Quinn is racing against the clock, and unless he can figure out who’s gunning for them from the shadows, the future they’re fighting for could be out of reach. Quinn and Will are standing on one side of the law, Peyton and Jericho hold the other, but even that might not be enough to keep Sebastian out of the crosshairs.

Reactant is a 100,000-word MMMMM romance that ends in a HFN. It is Book 2 in an ongoing series that follows the same five men and their relationship. It is not a standalone whatsoever and begins directly after the end of Catalyst (Chain Reaction Book 1).

It contains adult situations, gun use, references to murder, suspense themes, and a character with PTSD. Readers’ discretion is advised.

Bio

Aurora Crane is an Australian author with a particular love for books featuring poly relationships, specifically ones that are polyfidelity.

When reading an Aurora Crane novel you can except it to be written in third person, with a myriad of poly characters and a sprawling universe with lots of side characters and cameos. There is always, of course, a healthy serving of banter, snark and idiots falling in love.

She has an appreciation for men in suits and frequently spreads that love in the Facebook group she shares with her muse, fellow Aussie, and co-writer Briar Kearney.
