Hi all! Today we are sharing my favorite covers of 2023! Great covers for me can really sell a book (and, sadly, bad covers can often discourage me from reading). These are all covers that not only have beautiful artwork, but that also capture the tone and plot of the story within. It’s also fun to see the trends in covers each year. In addition to the ever popular (and appreciated) gorgeous cover model covers, it’s clear that graphic and animated covers have continued to make a big surge this year.

I don’t typically pick an absolute favorite cover, but I do have to give a shout out to S.E. Harmon for the cover of The First and Last Adventure of Kit Sawyer. This cover so perfectly captures the spirit of the story, and brings just the right dose of Indiana Jones nostalgia that had me clamoring to pick up this book. Just perfect!

Here are my favorites; I hope some of them make your list as well!
