“You must be Alejandro.” His face radiated sunshine and happiness that would make anyone looking at him defenseless from his charm. I should have known his voice would match his gorgeous eyes and sexy smile.

And I really needed to get a grip. So, I returned the smile and finally spoke when my brain formed words again.

“Uh, yes. That’s me. And who might you be?”

His smile widened as we held on to one another like some kind of lifeline across the bar. “I’m Ben. It’s nice to meet you, Alejandro.”

I gave a single nod, never breaking eye contact. Reluctantly, I pulled my hand away.

“Nice to me you, Ben. I’m sorry to ask, but how old are you?”

He laughed, then graced me with a breathtaking smile. I was right. He was fucking sunshine. “Twenty-two. Need to see some ID?”

I smiled and my words came a little more freely now. “Yes, please. Have to set a good example for my bartenders.”

I wouldn’t admit I wanted to know more about him.

“Yeah, of course. I’ll do anything for the boss.” Ben continued to smile as he reached into his back pocket and took out his wallet, then handed me his driver’s license.

“Anything, huh?” I mused.

I strained to read it without using my reading glasses, but honestly, I wasn’t really worried. I knew Nick had checked it if he had a beer in front of him. All my bartenders are treated to updated service meetings on how to spot a fake ID, and Nick was the best.

Benjamin Williams.

Laguna Beach, California.

“I know I have a baby face,” he said, positioning his elbow on the bar before leaning closer to me. “It’s only fair I know my new friend’s age. So, how old are you?”

I leaned toward the bar to hand him his ID back. He was flirting with me. And I kinda loved it. “We’re friends now?”

“Best friends. We have a lot in common.”

I know I had to look like an idiot, standing here, doing nothing but grinning like a fool. “And what would that be exactly?”

“We have chemistry. And don’t think I’ve forgotten that my new BFF hasn’t shared his age yet.”

I smirked at him. He was right. We did have chemistry. But it was the kind that can blow up and catch things on fire before burning everything down. “Forty-three. And old enough to be your father.”

How do I choose which heart to break? No matter who I choose, I’m going to be the loser.

Three years ago, Ben walked into my Portland bar and stole my heart with one look. It didn’t matter that I’m 21 years older than him. All he wants is me.

Benjamin’s beautiful smile and endless charm attract everyone he meets, including my 20-year-old daughter, Anna.

No one knows about all the things he and I have done together. And I’ve made sure to keep it from her.

My carefully constructed life built upon rules and my duty to my family is about to crumble before my eyes because she and I want the same thing—Ben.

In the end, keeping us a secret may cost me both of them. I’m in an impossible love triangle that, no matter which one I choose, I’m going to lose.

And when someone attacks my bar via social media, it’s all I can take.

So, which do I choose? Anna’s happiness? Or a life with Ben?

I knew I loved Alejandro Sanchez the moment our eyes met across the bar. There was something about the single dad and bar owner that I couldn’t get enough of.

After three long years, he’s finally okay with us. But when he refuses to tell Anna about us, I take matters into my own hands.

I’ll do whatever needs to be done to keep him in my life, even if it means accepting a date with Anna.

We Could Do This Tonight is an age gap, single dad, boss/employee love triangle romance and the second book in the We Could Do This Duet. It is the tenth book set in the Package Deal World with reoccurring characters from the original series. It is best enjoyed after reading We Could Do This Forever.

Note to the reader: If you have not read the Package Deal Series, you might find it beneficial to start there and refer to the reading order for the PD World within the books. All the books are available through Kindle Unlimited.
