Hello Joyfully Jaysters! I’m excited for the chance to introduce myself today and tell you a little about my work before I see you on the Rainbow Readers Cruise in August!

For those of you who don’t know me, I’m author K.M. Neuhold. I’m bisexual and polyamorous, and after a lifetime spent describing myself as “In love with love”, I found my calling as a romance author in 2015. Some fun facts about me: I am a husky lover. I’ve got two crazy floofs who talk back constantly and cover every inch of my house in husky glitter, and I love them to pieces. I worked as a vet tech for many years before I became an author full time, and even planned to go to veterinary school at one point. And I’ve never met a dad joke that couldn’t make me laugh!

km neuhold rainbow readers cruise badgeI write MM(M+) with a major focus on low relationship angst, “acceptance porn”, “communication kink”, and dudes who basically have green flags coming out of their asses lol. My books are full of humor, LOTS of heat, strong friendships, and swoony stories about men falling in love with other men.

I’ve never been on a cruise before, so I am SO stoked for the Rainbow Readers Cruise this summer. If you’re looking for me, you’ll most likely find me by the pool, or wherever there are snacks! I LOVE getting to chat with readers and other authors, so don’t hesitate to come up and say hi wherever you spot me. I’m dragging my husband along for the ride too, and I know he’s excited to get to meet all of you as well. He’s been such a huge supporter of my writing from the very start, and I’ve even stolen a few original quotes for him and used them in my stories. Don’t worry, he doesn’t mind. My favorite one direct from his mouth to my page was a line that ended up in Nailed- “it feels like Frosty the Snowman is motorboating my balls”. If you know the scene, then you know! And if not, then you really need some Stone in your life, ASAP!

Wondering what I’m currently working on? Well, I’ve spent the last several months enjoying a lot of time with my Palm Island series. First, with my recent release, Easy Does It, which is the SWOONIEST best friends to lovers story you will ever read, full of heat and so many low-angst feels that you won’t want to put it down. And now, I’m hard at work on Devil’s Own, which is an MMM story featuring the mysterious, quirky island psychic, Raven, and the married couple, Angel and Devil, who have had their eye on him for ages. It’s turning out to be a sweet story about being open to the possibility that a long-anticipated fling could turn into so much more.

I absolutely love writing polyamorous love stories, with an emphasis on communication and all the different, beautiful shapes and sizes love can come in. Keep an eye out for Devil’s Own coming out this April. And, in the meantime, be sure to check out the first 5 books in the Palm Island series, full of beachy shenanigans, found family, heated nights, and all the low-angst love you can handle.
