Ray Tolliver has a case of bad timing and cold feet when he comes to terms with his sexuality 20 minutes before he’s set to say “I do.” Instead of vacationing on his honeymoon, Ray starts a blog to follow his journey to find true love. Along the way, his blog comes to the attention of his ex-fiancé, Alice, who sees Ray’s journey to self-discovery as a means of jabbing the knife just a bit harder into her back as he looks for love in all the wrong places. Will Ray be able to find a man who appreciates romance, hearts, and flowers? Will he be able to convince Alice to forgive him?

This story is a short novella told in a unique way. Initially I had reservations about reading a story in blog form, but I have to admit, I was hooked from the opening pages!

Ray is a 30-year-old virgin living in a small town. When he jilts his fiancé at the altar, Ray begins a journey to find himself and hopefully find a little love along the way. The only problem is, he has no idea what he is doing! He begins by looking for love in all the wrong places…Lollipop Park, online, blind dates, and more! This story had me in stitches.

My one complaint about this book is that I wished it was a bit longer and I wished that it had been just a bit more of Ray falling in love than it was. But, it’s a short novella, so I pretty much knew when I started that there is only so much of a story that can be packed into so few pages.

Overall, this is a hilarious short novella that gives readers the happy ending they crave. If you are looking for something to put a smile on your face and warm your heart, you’ve got to check this one out!
