Hi all! I hope you had a great week!
I spent a lovely 8 days with my husband at the beach. It was the first time we had been away without working at least some of the time in a year and so it was great to just relax. We had plenty of time reading on the beach and enjoying the sun, as well as time to just be lazy around the house. It was a much needed break to get me fueled up to enter fall.
I am also thrilled that we launched registration for the Rainbow Readers Cruise, a project I am organizing with narrator, Joel Leslie, and his husband, Rich Najuch. The cruise is going to be August 19-23, 2024 aboard the Celebrity Reflection. It departs from Ft. Lauderdale, Florida and stops in Key West and Coco Cay (Celebrity’s private island). We already have an incredible group of authors signed up and lots of readers joining us as well. The event will combine the best of the cruise (tons of food, unlimited drinks package, gorgeous locations, fun excursions) with the fun of a reader conference (panels, mixers, a chance to meet some awesome authors and hang out with other readers).
