When Skyler Spencer arrives in Key West for his brother’s wedding, he expects to meet his new sister-in-law to be, as well as her twin sister. He’s prepared to spend time keeping the twin company. What he’s not prepared for is that the twin turns out to be a man, and one he knows from a brief, yet hot, encounter in a club. Casey Baker is everything Skyler remembers him to be — gorgeous and sexy — as well as a bunch of other things he never got the chance to learn about him, including fun and adventurous and full of spirit.

When the two end up in the same room together, they have the opportunity to get to know each other quickly. Skyler is a successful photographer from St. Louis who has commitment issues due to his dysfunctional parents. Casey is a NICU nurse who loves his job taking care of high-risk babies. They’re both genuinely surprised to see each other that first day, but neither one seems at all disappointed.

When Skyler’s brother, Storm, and Casey’s sister, Callie, end up having a few pre-wedding issues, it’s up to the brothers to pull things together. They also have to decide if what they have is just a wedding weekend fling, or if they’re in it for the long term.

There are times you want to read books with depth and meaning. Sometimes you want books that make you think. Other times, you just want a little bit of fluff. This book fits squarely in the latter category. There is nothing revolutionary or all that original about the story. Two men meet at a wedding and have a lot of sex. They have to decide if there’s something more. However, I thought this story did the “little bit of fluff” relatively well. It was sweet and charming and easy to read. I liked the characters and really did root for them to be together. There was very little angst or conflict at all, which doesn’t make for a very compelling story, but, in this case, left me feeling content.

There’s also a lot of sex for such a short novel and it starts happening fairly quickly. Were they the steamiest scenes I’ve ever read? No. But they were satisfying and there were a lot of them. So if you’re in the mood for something with more sex than plot, this book is for you.

There’s really not much else to say, as there’s not much to this story. With the exception of a few pages, it takes place over a weekend. I didn’t love the head-hopping between Skyler and Casey and would’ve preferred to stick with one character, but other than that, the writing was good.

If you’re in the mood for something light, without a lot of substance, but with likeable characters and an entertaining plot, definitely pick this one up. It didn’t change my life, but it was a fun, quick read.
