Hi all! I hope you had a great week!
My big adventure this week was smashing my foot when opening a door, causing it to bruise spectacularly in that wonderfully redheaded way! It is swollen and I still can’t walk on it after four days, but fortunately not broken. Opening a door onto my own foot is such a me thing to do…
Our other excitement is that yesterday was my younger daughter’s senior prom (a big dance that celebrates the end of high school). Sadly, the weather was not super cooperative for pictures outdoors (it is May and feels like early March), but she looked beautiful and I’m happy she could enjoy this tradition after so many missed events over the past two years.
Today we are having a family brunch with the four of us to celebrate Mother’s Day. Happy day to all the mothers and mother figures out there, and gentle hugs to those out there who struggle today.
